More about Black Nylon 3/16″ Cord Very Low Stretch – 1000 Ft.
Durable with a solid core and diamond braid jacket, this Black Nylon 3/16″ Cord has a very low stretch factor and working load limit of 140 lbs. Contains UV inhibitors and has a higher resistance to harsh weather and sun than the white cording. Sold in 1000-ft. spools.
Nylon — Stronger than polyester, more stretchability, less abrasion resistance
Polyester — Less strength and stretch than nylon, high abrasion resistance
Polypropylene — Low strength, low stretch, lightweight, floats
Note: The black cord has a higher resistance to harsh weather and sun.
