These Hard Glas Heat Bulbs were made with threaded glass for long-lasting durability. Ideal for farrowing rooms, these heat bulbs will keep your piglets and chicks warm after their birth. They have a brass base with threaded glass to eliminate glass separation from the base. Priced individually.
For piglets, hang the heat lamp approximately 20″ to 24″ above your piglet’s living space. For chicks the distance varies, for cold areas, chicks require 18″ to 20″ above the birds, for warmer areas, 24″ to 27″ is recommended.
