The Dutton-Lainson worm gear winch is designed for horizontal pulling and vertical lifting, It has a 1,500 lb. capacity and a loop drive that allows the winch to be mounted out of reach and operated with a long shepherd hook and, if desired, with a variable speed electric drill. The Split reel automatically stops turning whenever cranking is stopped, locking load in place. This winch features a powder-coated finish, zinc plated TUFFPLATE® finish on hardware. It will hold up to 81′ of 3/16″ cable, up to 61′ of 7/32″ cable, or up to 43′ of 1/4″ cable (cable sizes smaller or larger than these are not recommended). Color may vary. Made in the U.S.A.
