Ideal for emergency ventilation in your livestock barn, the Time Delay Emergency Curtain Drop from ControlTech has an electromagnetic force that holds the arm securely until power interruption. During power failure the PowerDrop will release its spring-loaded arm which will release the curtain winch, not included, after a 5-minute delay. The release arm is constructed of stainless steel and the control unit is sealed in a watertight box. This all-weather controller does not require batteries. 120 Volt.
PowerDrop is designed to work in the harsh livestock environment. Its external components are constructed of high grade stainless steel for corrosion resistance. The internal electronics are conformal coated for moisture resistance and housed in a weather-resistant plastic enclosure.
Installation: Installation of the PowerDrop is simple. Included in the box is all of the hardware you will need to be up and running. With a nut driver and pliers you can have the PowerDrop mounted and connected to your winch in about 15 minutes. Connecting power is easy too, just plug into your 120, 208 or 240 VAC outlet.
Directions:
- Plug in PowerDrop.
- Swing PowerDrop arm to closed position for immediate holding power.
- Attach winch handle to PowerDrop with tether.
- Disengage winch lock.
